Inspiring Autumn Breaks

Have you been biding your time, so as to miss the big summer holiday rush? Do you prefer something a bit quieter, when the days are still warm, but the beaches a bit less crowded? Then it is time to distract yourself with your Autumn holiday plans.

Here are some inspirational suggestions for you! If this isn't exactly what you want you can  explore some more destinations using our trip finder on the left or drop us a line and tell us what you want and we'll  tailor any trip to suit your preferences.
Old men chatting

Romania combines stunning nature, fascinating architecture and vibrant culture. Take a step back in time at one of the world’s most famous painted monasteries in Bucovina, the Sighisoara citadel, or visit a centuries-old village in Maramures.

Then bring some cheer to the lives of some of the underprivileged children at one of the many orphanages dotted around the country. You may find it challenges you but  there will be rewards for both you and the youngsters that will last much longer than the holiday.
Slovakia in Autumn

Slovakia is a peaceful country that has largely been over looked after splitting from its bigger brother. Yet the natural beauty here is stunning, so why not step off the beaten track before the rest of the world catches on?

Take part in a fantastic project that aims to study, conserve and protect  some of Europe's last wild bears. Beautiful animals that used to roam all over this now densely populated continent.
Children in Bali

I you are looking for an activity holiday, this is the place to come. Rafting, cycling and trekking are all on the agenda. Then there is great food an lovely people to top it off. If you need some inspiration why not take a look at the book (or movie) 'Eat Pray Love'.

After some relaxation enjoy your time, helping with the disabled children in Bali. Their little smiles are heart-warming;  an experience that you will always treasure.
Walking safari in Zambia

What a great time of the year to visit Zambia. The Zambezi river has calmed down and you can appreciate the whole water spactacle from ground level, without getting soaked.

It is one of the best countries to make a difference volunteering and experience the "real" Africa at the same time. Unfortunately, the wealth distribution in Zambia remains unfair, but as a result strong cultural and traditional ties have prevailed.
New Orleans

One can't deny that New Orleans has had more than it's fair share of natural and man made disasters. Yet this resilient community takes it on the chin and moves on.

So, why not go down there and give them a hand and at the same time enjoy a hamburger. After all the sign does say that it is the "World's Best".

Of course there are many more adventures to choose from. Other great autumn destinations includeMalawi,Mozambique andLombok.

If you are one of those people that like to visit places in the off season, just to avoid the tourists or see the mountains in the rainy season, because when the air clears the views are even more spectacular, then just let us know and we can find a trip to suit you.
