Solo Travellers
If you are travelling solo, you are not alone with Hands Up Holidays - many of our guests are just like you!
If you are happy to share a room with another traveller (of the same sex) then the price is as stated.
We are working to remove the single supplements on as many trips as we can, but currently these are payable if you wish to have a room to yourself.
All of our trips are suitable if you are single, so your options are many!
If you are the first person to book a trip, then we will devote special marketing efforts in order to secure more guests for your trip date - remember that just two people are required to guarantee that a trip will run.
Additionally, we offer the ability to pay a supplement in order to guarantee that a trip will go ahead, even if you are the only one booking it.
You can also refer to our 'Confirmed Departures' section for info on trips that have already reached the minimum required numbers.
We are also delighted to tailor-make a trip for you, if you are happy to travel on your own, with our expert local guides.
Here are just a few quotes from previous customers who have travelled on their own:
The holiday was superb and I received a fascinating insight into the country, people and culture. Both the guides and drivers looked after me very well. The hotel accomodation was excellent. My volunteer work was very enjoyable and I believe it helped, although I felt that I learned more from the students at the school than they did from me. I would certainly recommend this trip to others and hopefully will be able to consider similar holidays in the future.

"I loved every moment of this experience; I discovered things I didn't know about myself, and I have met some amazing and inspiring people who will remain my friends forever. It certainly helped put my life in perspective."
Chantal Khoueiry, May 2007 - travelled to India
"The trip was absolutely amazing!! Had a great time, it was exactly what I was looking for. Abdellah was a great host and working with the kids at the school in Talamanzou was an experience of a lifetime. I hope to return again in the future."
