This 10 day trip extension is a fantastic way to gain an appreciation for the beautiful countryside and wonderful people of Laos.

Visit the magnificent colonial buildings and the active monasteries of Vientiane. Meet the friendly monks, who are always happy to practice their English and explain their lives of devotion.

It is easy to be captivated by the World Heritage town of Luang Prabang. The rich blend of colonial heritage and local culture give it a special ambiance that is difficult to explain. Time will melt away as you enjoy the sights, converse with the locals and dine out on magnificent food.

The rivers of Laos have long been the life blood. Marvel at the magnificent scenery and enjoy watching life drift by, as you make your way down the Nam Ou river. Travel through spectacular gorges and jungles on the way to the tranquil village of Muang Ngoi, a great place trek and gain a deeper understanding for these fascinating people. This country is a hive of cultures that continue to cling to their age old customs. Explore the surrounding villages and discover a diversity of colorful traditional dress and languages.
