Romania is ready to captivate you with its stunning monasteries, castles and medieval towns. The Romanians love to regale you with stories about the legendary Count Dracula, as you visit his haunts in Transylvania and the surrounding Carpathian and Fagaras Mountains.

The strategic location of Romania has made it a hot bed for war, trade and art over many centuries. The stunning countryside and one of the largest undisturbed forested areas in Europe, make it a beautiful place to visit.

Combine all these factors with a volunteer project at an orphanage on the Black sea and you have an experience of a life time. Feel rewarded as you carry out building repairs, or relieve the overworked care staff and allow them to carry out more of their essential tasks. These poor children have had an unfortunate beginning to their lives, but you can make a real contribution to ensure their future looks brighter.
