Your "Taste of Volunteering" Project

Depending on what is required by the community at the time of your visit, your Community Development project will range from repair and renovation of houses, schools, and bridges; environmental protection; business and computing training; and assisting in medical clinics.
If you have specialist skills, we would love to arrange to make the best possible use of your time and skills.

Trip Description

We begin with a tour of the capital, Port Vila, on the main island of Efate, and spend the next day discovering magical Efate: learn the way of life from centuries ago including remnants from the era of cannibalism; stop at the beautiful Eton Beach for a relaxing swim; cruise in outrigger canoes on Epule River and enjoy a sumptuous lunch. Witness the unique cultural fire walking ceremony and then take a moment to relax at the spectacular Undine Bay for afternoon tea.

We visit a cattle farm, tropical gardens, and beautiful rock pool where you can swim deep in a tropical rainforest. Through this you will get many opportunities to also explore the culture of this fascinating country.

We go by 4WD to picturesque Efate Village, for our Community Development project. Depending on what is required by the community at the time of your visit, your Community Development project will range from repair and renovation of houses, schools, and bridges; environmental protection; business and computing training; and assisting in medical clinics.
If you have specialist skills, we would love to arrange to make the best possible use of your time and skills.

After assisting on your community projects you will have earned a few days R and R and these will be spent on Efate where you’ll get the chance to interact with our magnificent marine environment. You’ll visit a marine adventure park, snorkel amongst multi colour reefs, view fish life through a glass bottom boat and lie on a beach. Cruising tropical islands, exploring cascading waterfalls and jungle river kayak complete your memorable stay.
