Visit the beautiful ‘white city’ of Arequipa and the attractive 16th century Santa Catalina convent, at the base of the volcano El Misti . Outside the city, marvel at the depth of the Colca Canyon and luxuriate in the rejuvenating ‘aguas calientes’ (hot springs) of the fabulous Colca Lodge.
Lake Titicaca is not only beautiful, but also world renowned for the artificial islands constructed by the remarkable Uros people. Originally designed for defensive purposes, these mobile floating islands now substitute as a unique market place for incredible weaving products.
