  • Exploring vibrant Kathmandu
  • Experiencing the Kathmandu Valley
  • Learning about local culture, anthropology, politics etc.
  • Hiking in to the famous Everest region

Your ''Taste of Volunteering'' Project

Your opportunity to give back take place in schools or orphanages near Kathmandu. The children range in age from 4 to 18. The level of poverty is very high and the children lack even basic food and clothing. Providing them with an education gives them the foundation and confidence to succeed in this impoverished country.

Trip Summary

Stunning Himalyan scenery, a fascinating history, and a diverse culture; this is truly a remarkable adventure. Add to this the opportunity to interact with the warm and generous Nepalese people, and make a difference to the lives of young children, and you have the trip of a life time.

Enjoy a magical flight into the Everest region, the home to the friendly and hospitable Buddhist Sherpa. Here, it is not just the rarefied air that takes your breath away, but also the sight of the magnificent Himalayan range. Trekking among the jagged glaciers and peaks, it is easy to lose yourself in this fairytale.

Feel energized as the rich oxygenated air of the Kathmandu brings a contrasting adventure. Become immerse in the culture of the lowland Nepalese and bring joy and education to the lives of underprivileged children in the Katmandu valley. In return feel the warmth and appreciation of these wonderful people.

The contrast between the harsh desert-scape of the Himalaya and the lush jungle of Royal Chitwan National park could not be greater. Enjoy searching for a myriad of wild life species, including the rare Bengal Tiger, and take the time to reflect on a truly rewarding journey.
