Trip Itinerary
Day 1
Phnom Penh - Sightseeing
Arrive in Phnom Penh and transfer to hotel. In the afternoon, visit some of Cambodia’s most remarkable sites, including National Museum, Silver Pagoda, the Royal Palace, and Phnom Penh’s oldest shrine, Wat Phnom.
Day 2
Phnom Penh - Sightseeing
Free day at leisure or OPTIONAL TOUR: Morning tour to Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and the notorious Khmer Rouge Killing Fields. Warning: Exhibits are graphic, and may cause distress.
Day 3
Phnom Penh - Siem Reap - Angkor Complex
After an early breakfast, transfer to airport for flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel for check in. Begin exploration of the ancient city of Angkor by entering Angkor Thom via the South Gate. Continue the journey by viewing the ruins at Bayon, Baphoun, the Royal Palace, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terraces, Ta Keo, Chau Say Tevada, and Thommanon. In the afternoon, visit the epic Angkor Wat, viewing its well-known architecture and bas-reliefs.
Day 4
Siem Reap - Angkor Complex
After breakfast, proceed to the graceful Khmer Temple of Shiva, built in the 11th century. On the way back, stop at the three-tiered temple-hill of Pre Rup. There, view the Bantey Kdei with its rarely seen sculpted female deities, the Lake of Srah Srang, and the impressive Ta Prohm Temple, which is dramatically enveloped by jungle. End the day with a spectacular sunset viewed from the mountain temple of Phnom Bakheng
Day 5
Siem Reap-Free
Free day at leisure. Or we can arrange for you to go to the outer ruins Bantreay Shrei
Day 6
Siem Reap - Departure
The morning is free for rest or exploration. Transfer to airport for departure. End of package.
Start Phnom Penh and end Siem Reap.
