Your "Taste of Volunteering" Project
Environmental and Village based Projects. You can assist with painting a classroom in this endearing, impoverished community. You can also help with tree planting, or with other activities asked for by this impoverished community at the time of your stay. These could include teaching, helping lay water pipes, helping build a classroom, or similar project. The warmth of these people will forever change you.
Trip Summary
Upon arrival in Nairobi, we transfer to Amboseli National Park in time for an evening game drive -your first chance to spot the ‘Big 5’. We have two solid days at this beautiful park, with views of Mt Kilimanjaro. The next Game Park is Tsavo East Game Park, where we are based with our indigenous community, and after more game drives we begin our volunteering and meaningful interaction with our wonderful hosts.
You will get to work alongside the local people planting trees or doing other village based projects as required by the community while you are there. We then head back to Nairobi to break up our journey en route to the Maasai Mara, where we have six game drives, which should all prove incredible experiences for you. We finish in Nairobi, and transfer you to the airport for your flight home.
Upon arrival in Nairobi, we make a quick escape bound for Amboseli National Park in time for an evening game drive -your first chance to spot the ‘Big 5’ of lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo and rhino. We have two solid days at this beautiful park, where no visit is complete without a trip to Observation Hill – a spectacular vantage point to admire Mt Kilimanjaro.
We then transfer further east to Tsavo East Game Park for a distinctly different game viewing experience, where we are based with our indigenous community, and after more game drives we begin our volunteering and meaningful interaction with this wonderful community.
You will get to work alongside the local people planting trees or doing other village based projects as required by the community while you are there. Expect to make lifelong friends!
We head back to Nairobi to break up our journey en route to the king of all game parks: Maasai Mara, where we have six game drives, which should all prove incredible experiences for you.
We finish in Nairobi, and transfer you to the airport for your flight home.
