Your "Taste of Volunteering" Project
Depending on what is required by the community at the time of your visit, your Community Development project will range from repair and renovation of houses, schools, and bridges; environmental protection; business and computing training; and assisting in medical clinics.
If you have specialist skills, we would love to arrange to make the best possible use of your time and skills.
Trip Description
This 8 days luxury trip showcases the best of Vanuatu’s food, accommodation, scenery and meaningful interaction with its people. Starting with a tour of the capital, Port Vila, you will receive training in the local language and culture as well as get a chance to experience the beauty of the natural environment in this tropical paradise, including rivers and cascades, farms, gardens.
On Day 4 your Volunteer Project begins at a local school. If you have specialist skills, knowledge, or an area you would prefer your project to focus on, for example teaching, medical, environmental, building, please contact us as we would love to arrange to make the best possible use of your time and skills. The following day you will have a grand tour of Efate Island, where your enriching trip ends.
For those who do not have quite so much time for the 15 day trip we have a shorter 8 day trip that offers you a premium Vanuatu experience along with the opportunity to contribute to the local community through volunteer projects.
Like our other trips it includes time to take in and learn about the local people and culture, some time to relax and enjoy yourself and a chance to make a difference. During the holiday you will receive training in the local language and culture as well as get a chance to experience the beauty of the natural environment in this tropical paradise.
Your visit includes all transfers and entry fees. You’ll stay at a luxury boutique resort right on the picturesque Fatumaru Bay and you’ll dine at the best and most interesting restaurants and cafes in Port Vila experiencing, Melanesia, French and international cuisines.
