Your "Taste of Volunteering" Project

Your volunteer project is with a variety of charities in Cancun Mexico.  Help with tasks such as preparing and serving meals, accompanying elderly people and enabling them to be more active, teaching English and helping out with maintenance work such as gardening, cleaning and painting.

Trip Summary

The Yucatan region of Mexico is not only beautiful, it is also steeped in history and tradition. The once mighty Myan Empire continues to influence the traditions and food of these proud people.

Your volunteer project is a fantastic opportunity to help people in need and to embed yourself in the fabric of this fascinating culture. Working closely with the local population you gain real insights into their lives.

These insights will also give you a better appreciation for the fascinating sights that you will encounter along the way.  Marvel at Mayan ruins, delve into colonial cities, explore caverns, experience biosphere reserves, observe flamingos and dive into lagoons.

If you want to be active; biking, snorkeling and kayaking are on offer, but if you just want to relax, then the lagoons and beaches of the Yucatan will take your breath away.
