Ongava Tented Camp
Lying on the border of Etosha National Park in the Ongava Game Reserve, these eight spacious tents look like they grew organically out of the woodlands. All home comforts are provided, and the camp even has its own plunge pool. Game drives are the main activity, with lion, elephant and cheetah all close by.
A National Park since 1907, Etosha has some 144 mammal species, 340 types of bird and 110 different reptiles. Come between the months of May and September for some of the best game viewing in Africa, retiring to one of the luxury camps that now pepper the vast plains.
